The Buffalo Videography team recently had the privilege of working with the family of Bishop Sammie Rankin, to capture his 90th Birthday Celebration. This was a fun project to film, edit, and share and it was special to capture such a wonderful day filled with such love and appreciation. These are our most rewarding type of video events to record for our clients.
Back in late May, Buffalo Videography received a call from Bishop Sammie Rankin's family about an event video production and photography. The project called for a video and photography of the planned 90th birthday drive-by celebration to be filmed by our video production team in Niagara Falls, NY. This project would be fast-moving and call for a lot of angles, good audio, and focus on the speaking parts. We sent two videographers, one acting primarily as a drone operator, and a photographer out to capture the day. The photo and video team recorded along the parade route as our FAA-licensed drone operator safely recorded the surrounding areas. When Niagara Falls Mayor Robert Restaino arrived, we set him up with a microphone and a videographer followed him as he met the crowds and then led the drive-by parade to honor Bishop Sammie Rankin at his home.
A wonderful outpouring of love and support from friends and family near and far as the covid-friendly, drive-by parade met smiles and waves from the man of the hour. It has been our great pleasure and honor to work with the family to create and share this wonderful event in the resulting video. Check it out!
